Stéphane Leroux
Stephane exhibited his artwork at Yamamoto-tei, one of Shibamata's famous sightseeing spots during the Shibamata Art World 2019. His work, which was inspired by Junichiro Tanizaki's novel, matched the atmosphere of Yamamoto-tei perfectly.

Painter. Born in Berney, France in 1974, now lives in Tokyo.
He worked at an atelier named 59 Rivoli in Paris from 2002 to 2004.
In 2004, he was the winner of the “Japan Cultural Grand Prize” held in Hiroshima. In 2010, he established Atelier 485 in Shibamata, Tokyo. This is a place for creation, exhibition and cultural exchange.
He is active as an artist, director, and art teacher at Lycée français international de Tokyo.
He participated in Shibamata Art World 2019.
