Stéphane Leroux
See the exhibition of Stéphane Profile: Painter. Born in Berney, France in 1974, now lives in Tokyo. He worked at an atelier named 59 Rivoli in Paris from 2002 to 2004. In 2004, he was the winner of the “Japan Cultural Grand Prize” held in Hiroshima. In 2010, he established Atelier 485 in Shibamata, Tokyo. This is a place for creation, exhibition and cultural exchange. He is active as an artist, director, and art teacher at Lycée français international de Tokyo. Geoffrey Bouillot

Profile: Born in France. In 2008, he entered a horticultural vocational school and began his working career. He specializes in producing street prints and stone/tree arrangements for theme parks and private homes. He has been living in Japan since 2011. In 2014, he started a creation studio in Tokyo. He has worked on illustrations, workshops for children (Institut français / Lycée français), silkscreen T-shirts and posters. Bruno Albert-Gondrand

Profile: Born in Grenoble, France, in 1985. Studied English and Russian in France, Cinema in England, and ended up in Japan. He now draws,prints and writes in Tokyo.He does hid own. No machines, no computer used. He also uses a variety of tools such as charcoal, Japanese ink, or Washi (Japanese paper). Chie(Vivat Veritas)

Profile: She started her own clothing line, “Vivat Veritas” in Philadelphia during 2008. She is a self-taught designer and seamstress. Her style has been described as a classy-retro-bohemian mix. She was featured in the BurdaStyle Sewing Handbook. She has run multiple fashion shows in Tokyo Her signature pieces include kimono upcycled dresses and jumpsuits. Ayumu Kitamura

Profile: Ayumu started playing various musical instruments as a child. He started playing electric guitar when he was 19, and later began playing jazz while studying under Kazuyuki Terabun. In the fall of 2000, he encountered Tatsuo Tabei's performance, which led him in the direction of classical music. The following year, at Tatuo Tabei’s recommendation, he opened his own guitar studio, called Ayumu Guitar Class / Salon de ayumusique. In addition to his own guitar classes in his hometown of Kashiwa, he performs and gives lessons in Tokyo and Yokohama. Ayumu is also a lecturer at the Kashiwa West Exit Cafe Line Music Rooms. There he teaches youth lessons. Aside from his solo performances, Ayumu also collaborates with dancers, painters and models performing in various locations. In 2012, he had to stop playing due to an unknown dysfunction of his body. In 2016, Ayumu was able to resume his performance activities. In June 2017, he began his monthly performance at Shibamata Yamamoto-tei. |
Yamila Marañón

Profile: Sculptor and installation artist. Born in Mendoza, Argentina. Based in Paris, France since 1997. She has studied and practiced visual arts such as sculpture, painting, architecture and dance. She was a member of 59Rivoli for 5 years and has presented works throughout Europe and Latin America. After returning to Argentina in 2007, she established the Maranon Foundation and works on art and culture. Founded in 2010 by French artist Stephene Leroux as a place for artistic activities and networking, Atelier 485 Tokyo currently hosts art exhibitions and productions, events, workshops, and design work.
